Sam Harrigan is an impact two-way baseball player in the Pittsford Mendon Class of 2028 who has established himself as one of the program’s most productive young offensive players. A right-handed hitter with a combination of power, athleticism, plate discipline, and competitive toughness, Sam continues to make his presence felt at the high school and travel levels.

During the 2025–26 Pittsford Mendon varsity season, Sam posted an outstanding .377 batting average, .500 OBP, .906 SLG, and 1.406 OPS over 18 games and 66 plate appearances. He recorded 6 doubles, 5 triples, 4 home runs, and 19 RBI, demonstrating significant extra-base power and an ability to impact games from the middle of the lineup. Sam also drew 13 walks and finished the season with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.

His performance earned him 2025–26 Second Team All-County honors after receiving Honorable Mention All-County recognition in 2024–25.

Sam has also been part of tremendous team success at Pittsford Mendon. As a member of the Vikings, he helped the program capture the 2024–25 Sectional Championship, Regional Championship, and New York State Championship, gaining valuable championship experience early in his high school career.

Off the field, Sam's commitment to academics matches his dedication to baseball. He is an 8x High School Honor Roll student, demonstrating the discipline, work ethic, and time management necessary to excel both in the classroom and on the field.

With his combination of power, athleticism, baseball IQ, defensive reliability, and championship experience, Sam Harrigan is a player to watch as he continues his development toward the next level.
